The Worldwide Paranormal Reporting Center (WWPRC) was founded in 2006, and is currently awaiting non-profit 501c3 status confirmation.
WWPRC started as a database to allow the public to record their paranormal experiences. This data is highly useful for researchers trying to understand the complex field of parapsychology and the paranormal in general. From a scientific standpoint, little is understood about paranormal activity. WWPRC is dedicated to archiving this activity such that scientific understanding can progress.
In late 2007, WWPRC upgraded its website to include more functionality and more databases. These upgrades included user accounts, a database of investigative groups and organizations, a new data archive, a database of locations with known paranormal activity, an interviews page, and a page for listing articles published by members of WWPRC and researchers using WWPRC’s data.
