VOLUNTEERING

WWPRC is currently seeking dedicated volunteers who have a strong interest in the paranormal for the following positions. Knowledge and experience with the internet and Microsoft Office is required.

• Website Developer
  
  Responsible for implementing new features into the website as part of a team of developers. Must have experience working with PHP and databases. Will report to the Website Manager and work alongside our other Web Developers.
  
  
• Grant Writer
  
  Responsible for finding and submitting proposals to grants for funding purposes. External funding is a large percentage of WWPRC's income. This person must have experience writing grants. It is not essential, but desirable, for the person to have experience writing grants for scientific non-profits. Will report to the President and work alongside our current Grant Writer.
  
  
• Statistician
  
  Responsible for using known statistical analysis techniques to find correlations between WWPRC's data sets and external data sets (i.e. NOAA, NASA, USGS, etc.), and for generating probabilities and statistics based on the data sets. Must have experience and access to statistical software of their choice. Education in one of these disciplines would be desirable but not required: Probability/Statistics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Photonics, Geology, Biology, Psychology, Computer Science. In this position there is the potential to publish multiple journal articles. Will report to and work alongside the President and work alongside our current Statisticians and the Scientific/Technical Advisor.
  
  
• Marketing Representative
  
  Responsible for spreading the word about WWPRC's mission by attending conferences, passing out business cards, contacting academic and investigative paranormal groups, and the general public. Must have great communication skills and have access to a reliable internet connection. Will report to the Marketing Director and work alongside our current Marketing Representatives.
  
  
• Scientists or Engineers
  
  Responsible for guiding the Statisticians in their efforts to uncover correlations between paranormal data and natural phenomenon. Also responsible for generating scientific theories based upon any correlations. Must have at least a BS or BA in one or more of these disciplines: Probability/Statistics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Photonics, Geology, Biology, Psychology, Computer Science. It is hoped that multiple journal articles will be published based upon the work done by our Scientific/Technical Staff. Will report to and work alongside the President and work alongside our current Statisticians and the Scientific/Technical Advisor.

Ambassadors

Ambassadors are envisioned to make up the majority of our Marketing Department. It is through their efforts that the mission of WWPRC will reach people of all cultures, nationalities, religions and races. These individuals are responsible for marketing WWPRC in their Nation or State (depending on their level of Ambassador) and convincing groups and individuals from those regions to post data to WWPRC's databases. Excellent communication skills and high motivation is essential for these positions. Knowledge and experience with the internet and Microsoft Office is required, as is also a reliable internet connection.

• Country Ambassadors: These Ambassadors are responsible for overseeing all the State Ambassadors in their nation. This responsibility entails communicating regularly with, setting goals for, and keeping activity records for all State Ambassadors in their nation. They are also responsible for marketing WWPRC within federal or country-wide organizations. Will report to the President and Vice President.
  
  
• State Ambassadors: (The word 'State' refers to the largest division of land within a country) These individuals are responsible for marketing WWPRC in their State and convincing groups and individuals from their State to post data to WWPRC's databases. Will report to their respective Nation Ambassador.
